FOTD: Orange Meets Green - step-by-step

Hello Everyone,

I'm still basking in the euphoria of Lupita Nyong'o's BIG win at the oscars, that was so inspiring to me on many levels...big congrats to her!

In that spirit, I decided to share the look I wore today. It's a super easy look which takes just a few steps to achieve.

Step 1- Eyebrows
I started off with my eyebrows(I prefer to do this step first as it gives room for correction and precision) I filled in my brows with Covergirl eyebrow pencil in light brown and defined with Marykay foundation in 507( my exact shade) & Biege 2(a lighter shade).

Step 2 - Eyes
I used Marykay concealer as my eyeshadow base and moved on to the eyeshadow application. I applied the gold pigment from the Sleek Sunset palette on my inner corner, the orange pigment from the same palette on my lid and the green from the Sleek bad girl palette on my outer v. On my crease, I used a light brown blush- sandstone from Bobbi Brown. This served as my transition colour and also helped in blending. On my waterline I used Erno Laszlo's eye pencil in onyx. On my tear duct, I went in with the gold pigment from Sleek's Sunset palette and applied the green pigment from Sleek's bad girl palette on my waterline. I highlighted my brow bone with Profusion highlighter. I lined my upper lash line with Sleek Dip-It Eyeliner and used Almay Dial Up Mascara for my eye lashes.

Step 3 - Face
I primed my face with Marykay foundation primer, applied MaryKay foundation in 507 all over my face. I highlighted my t-zone with L'oreal Line Minimizing Makeup, contoured with Sleek Contour Kit in Medium and set my face with Black Radiance loose powder in Light.

Step 4 -Lips
I lined my lips with Covergirl Lip Perfection Pencil In Radiant and glossed with Victoria Secrets Beauty Rush in paradise.

All done and ready to hit the road! Oh and lest I forget, happy new month!!! Stay beautiful and stay blessed!!!

Chimdi.
